Welcome to Stop Clean Air Solar Farm.

We are a community-led group of local residents dedicated to protecting the environment, landscape, and rural character of East Yorkshire by challenging solar farm proposals to ensure they are proportionate, transparent, and in the best interests of our community.

What’s at Stake

Stretching across approximately 2,800 acres of countryside, the proposed development would industrialise an area around the size of Beverley – 4 times bigger than the Westwood. The site includes large areas of productive agricultural land, including some of the highest-grade farmland in the country. For many residents, these fields are not simply open space—they support food security, contribute to the rural economy, and form part of the landscape and character of the area.
